Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday launched a scathing attack on Congress and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and accused him of insulting Bihar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Siddha said to reporters, “I want to ask Congress and Tejashwi Yadav how much you will insult Bihar, how many abuses you will give? In your abuses, you also say derogatory words about the Prime Minister’s mother … Ashok Pillar is not just the spirit of Ashoka Path; Babasaheb is a symbol of Ambedkar’s soul. “
Targeting Rahul Gandhi, he said, “You (Rahul Gandhi) spoke of a hydrogen bomb, but you dropped the bidi bomb, it means that you will compare Biharis with bidi? … If Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi do not apologize and the National Conference is not different from the government, you will have to face the consequences.”
His remarks came a day after Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah questioned the use of the national symbol on the foundation stone of the renovated Hazratbal Dargah in Srinagar.
Abdullah said that he never saw this symbol being used at any religious place, he said that it is usually reserved for government buildings or official programs.
Abdullah said, “The first question is whether the symbol should have been engraved on the foundation stone. I have never seen the symbol at a religious place. Then what was the compulsion to keep the symbol on the stone of the Hazratbal Dargah?
After a viral video, the controversy arose, in which the crowd was seen breaking the Ashoka sign on the stone planks on the dargah. The Dargah is being rebuilt and redeveloped under the Waqf Board. ,
