The Trump administration says that the purpose of this fee is to ensure that the people being brought to the country are really highly skilled and do not replace employees of American origin.
Kant said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘Donald Trump’s $ 1,00,000 H1-B fee will suppress US innovation, while accelerating India’s innovation. The closure of America for global talent will lead to the next generation laboratories, patents, innovations and startups towards cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Gurugram. India’s best doctors, engineers, scientific and innovative will get an opportunity to contribute towards India’s development and developed India. The loss of America will be the benefit of India.
