The cold is continuously increasing in Patna and the Municipal Corporation has made record preparations this time for the homeless, helpless and those sleeping in the open at night. A total of 26 night shelters have been fully operated in the city, in which 953 beds have been installed. The most important thing is that by just providing Aadhar card and mobile number, any person can get free stay and food.

This time Patna Municipal Corporation has made the night shelters more modern than before.
Features available in the German Hangar:

Mosquito net and two blankets per person in case of cold.
Caretaker in three shifts + manager at each location
It is mandatory to provide Aadhar card and mobile number for entry into the night shelter.
Most of the night shelters are in Nutan Rajdhani and Kankarbagh area.
The corporation has made special arrangements in those areas of the city where the number of rickshaw pullers, daily wage laborers and street vendors is high.

Keeping women safety in mind, the Corporation has created three special women night shelters:
Gandhi Maidan, Opposite Maurya Hotel
Near Buddha Smriti Park, Fraser Road
Near Patna City Nala
The entry of men is completely prohibited in these.
