Advertising veteran Piyush Pandey passed away at the age of 70. The news of his demise was shared by columnist Suhail Seth on X on Friday morning.
Suhail Seth said in one of his posts, “I am extremely saddened and shocked by the demise of a talented person like my dear friend Piyush Pandey. India has lost not only a great advertising mind but also a true patriot and a wonderful gentleman.

He is the mastermind behind iconic ad campaigns like Asian Paints’ “Bring colors to every happiness”, Cadbury’s “Kuchh Khaas Hai” and Fevicol’s iconic “Egg” film.
Expressing his condolences, filmmaker Hansal Mehta paid tribute to Pandey in his advertising style. Mehta wrote, “Fevicol’s joint is broken. The advertising world has lost its glue today.”
