Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi has announced that only ships of friendly countries will be allowed to pass through the important sea route of the Strait of Hormuz. China and Russia: Iran has kept both these countries in its friend list.
Iraq and Pakistan: There will be no restriction on transit to these neighboring countries also.
Japan: Even with Japan, Iran is ready to give way after talks.

Iranian officials have made it clear that ships that follow security rules and do not engage in any activity against Iran will be provided safe passage.
