Till now, Prashant Kishor has been making election strategies for parties like BJP, TMC, Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena-UBT, but by contesting in the Bihar Assembly elections, he has heated up the atmosphere. Along with JDU President and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, his son Tejashwi Yadav and BJP are also on the target of Prashant Kishor. However, in an interview recently, Prashant Kishore had described Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav as having a clean heart. However, Prashant Kishore has now also spoken about the Bhagalpur riots in Bihar. Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore has termed the Bhagalpur riots as the most destructive in social and political life.

Taking the name of his candidate Abhay Kant Jha, Prashant Kishore said that he fought the case of the victims of Bhagalpur riots almost free of cost. Prashant Kishore said that Abhay Kant Jha saved 850 families of the victims of Bhagalpur riots, provided them compensation and also rehabilitated them. Arrangements were made for the people fleeing Meerut to stay in Bhagalpur. Prashant Kishore said that unlike big parties and leaders, Abhay Kant Jha did not enter politics. He said that today Abhay Kant Jha has come to Jan Suraj for change in Bihar. Bhagalpur riots took place in 1989.
