Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday announced financial assistance for the victims of the Indore accident and ordered action against the negligent officials in the case.
The Chief Minister announced an ex -gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh to the injured. He also said that the state government will bear the full expenses of the treatment of the injured. Addressing the journalists, the Chief Minister said, “The state government will provide auto rickshaws to the people whose rickshaws have been damaged in this accident. 4 lakh rupees will be given to each deceased and Rs 1 lakh to each injured person, as well as the expenses of their entire treatment will be borne. It was very sad, so I sent our Additional Chief Secretary (Home) to investigate the case. “
The Chief Minister said that action has been taken against some officers in the preliminary investigation and further action will be taken after detailed investigation. Four constables deployed will also be suspended. “
He further said that the constables who do good work will be rewarded, and auto rickshaw driver Anil Kothari, who saved the lives of four people, including a two -year -old child in his rickshaw, will also be rewarded. “I have issued orders for such incidents in Indore, I have issued orders for this incidents. I should ensure that such an accident does not happen again and I have come here to cancel all my programs to complete these arrangements and I have instructed the injured to find the mistake.
Chief Minister Yadav met the injured injured in various hospitals after the truck accident in the district on Tuesday and came to know about their well being. He also instructed the doctors to provide the best treatment to all the injured and not to allow any kind of lapse in treatment.
The accident took place on Kalani Nagar Road in Aerodrum police station area of the district at around 7.30 pm on Monday evening. The truck allegedly hit several vehicles up to 500 meters and during this time a bike also dragged.
