How high the morale of criminals is in Sardhana area of Meerut district can be gauged from a heart-wrenching incident that happened in Kupas village. Here, in broad daylight, a woman working in the fields was brutally murdered by cutting her hair with a shovel. Not only this, after committing the murder, the accused forcibly took away the young daughter of the deceased and took her with them. After this audacious incident, sensation has spread in the entire area and there is immense anger and panic among the villagers.
Miscreants suddenly attacked a mother and daughter working in the fields, the woman was killed by hitting her on the head with a shovel.
According to the information received, this dreadful incident took place on Thursday morning. Sunita, a resident of Kupas village, had gone to work on the farm with her 21-year-old daughter. Mother and daughter were busy in their work when some youths reached there and attacked them. Before the woman could understand anything, the accused attacked her fatally with a shovel. The attackers hit the woman several times on the head with a shovel, due to which she fell down drenched in blood on the spot and was seriously injured.
The accused fled after kidnapping the girl, leaving her blood-soaked mother in pain, the woman stopped breathing during treatment in the hospital.
The most horrifying aspect of the incident was that the accused, after killing the mother, targeted her daughter. They forcibly took away the girl from the field and fled from the spot. On the other hand, seriously injured Sunita was immediately taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead after all efforts. There is chaos in the family as soon as the news of mother’s murder and daughter’s kidnapping is received. The family members are in bad condition and there is mourning in the village.
There was a stir in the police department due to the news of the audacious incident, forces of many police stations including SSP and top officials were present on the spot.
As soon as the information about this incident of murder and kidnapping took place in broad daylight, there was panic in the police department. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, SSP and other senior police officers immediately reached the spot. In view of the tense situation in the village, police forces and PACs of many police stations have been deployed as a precautionary measure. Police officers inspected the incident site closely and collected information regarding the incident from the villagers. At present the situation in the village is tense but under control.
After registering a case of murder and kidnapping, the police started a vigorous search for the accused, several teams were formed to recover the girl.
Based on the complaint of family members, the police have registered a case under sections of murder and kidnapping. Police say that the case is being investigated from every aspect. Several special police teams have been formed to safely recover the kidnapped girl and arrest the absconding accused. The police are continuously raiding the surrounding areas and possible hideouts. Officials have claimed that soon the accused will be arrested and the girl will be brought back safely.
