Modern plant with 60 thousand ton capacity opened in Dubai, goods will come to India without tax

Amarak Chemicals has started its new manufacturing plant in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) of Dubai. This plant with an annual capacity of 60,000 metric tons is completely automated. This plant was inaugurated by Shri BG Krishnan, Consul General of India in Dubai. It is a subsidiary of Indian company Aries Agro Limited and the products manufactured here will be exported to many countries.

What will be the benefit of India-UAE CEPA agreement?

The biggest feature of this plant is that it is registered under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). This simply means that when the goods manufactured here are sent to India, there will be no custom duty on them. The company will be able to export its goods from here to India at 0% duty. This will reduce logistics costs and improve the supply chain.

What is the technology and capacity of the plant?

According to the company, this plant is equipped with Industry 4.0 technology. This means that the work here is done entirely through machines and digital systems, due to which there is less scope for error. Here mainly Sulfur Bentonite will be produced, which is necessary to improve the health of soil in farming. The company currently sells its goods in more than 13 countries including Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.

Many senior officials from India and Dubai were present at the inauguration of this new plant. The following people mainly attended the event:

Dr. Rahul Mirchandani: Chairman of Aries Group.
