Patna. The Opposition’s Grand Alliance in Bihar has not yet announced the seat sharing. Other constituents, including RJD and Congress, met on Sunday to discuss seat sharing in the Grand Alliance. After the end of the meeting, Mukesh Sahni, the head of the Vikas Human Party (VIP) involved in the Grand Alliance, announced to become his deputy CM after winning the election. Mukesh Sahni said that there has been a detailed conversation between the parties of the Grand Alliance. Everything has been decided on seat sharing. We will announce in the next two-three days.

Mukesh Sahni has already announced to fight 60 out of 243 assembly seats in Bihar. Whereas, Mukesh Sahni was with the NDA in the 2020 election of Bihar Legislative Assembly. At that time he got 11 seats. Of these, Mukesh Sahni’s party could win only 3 seats. Later Mukesh Sahni went with RJD. Now, due to the demand of 60 seats on their behalf and the claim to the post of deputy CM, a new screw can also be stuck in the grand alliance. Because before the Congress camp, news has come that the party wants at least 90 seats. According to sources, the Congress has sought the seats in addition to the winning seats, where its candidates were second last time. The Congress fought 70 seats in Bihar in 2020 and could win only 19.
There are not only RJD, Congress and Mukesh Sahni’s VIP in the Grand Alliance. The Grand Alliance also has the Left. Apart from this, Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is also involved in the grand alliance. At the same time, Pashupati Paras, the head of a faction of LJP, also wants to show his strength in the Bihar assembly elections as part of the Grand Alliance. Recently, it was also reported that out of the Left, CPI has demanded 24 seats and CPM has demanded 11 seats in the Grand Alliance. In such a situation, it is clear from Mukesh Sahni’s statement that the issue may not be resolved yet.
