Modi congratulated the Prime Minister of Nepal’s interim government Sushil Karki. He said, Nepal, situated in the lap of the Himalayas, is a friend of India, a close friend. We are associated with shared history, are associated with faith, moving together. I wish 140 crore Indians on behalf of Nepal’s interim PM Sushila Karki ji. Sushila ji’s arrival as the first female Prime Minister of Nepal is a very good example of women empowerment.

Today I will appreciate every person in Nepal who kept the democratic values paramount even in such instability environment. Modi said, another thing has been special in the incident in Nepal, which did not pay attention to the people. For the last two-three days, the young men and women of Nepal have been seen doing cleanliness and painting work on the streets of Nepal with great hard work and purity.
Earlier yesterday, when Sushila Karki took oath as an interim PM, Modi congratulated him through social media. Modi had written, Best wishes to the Honorable Sushila Karki ji on taking office as the Prime Minister of Nepal’s interim government. India is fully committed to the peace, progress and prosperity of Nepal’s siblings. Let us tell you that due to violent protests by GEN Z protesters in Nepal, Prime Minister KP Oli had to resign.
