Security forces in Pakistan have launched the most gruesome and biggest operation against terrorists so far. In response to the continuously deteriorating security situation in the country and increasing terrorist attacks, the Pakistani Army has taken a strong action within the last 40 hours and killed 145 terrorists. This aggressive action of the army has broken the back of terrorist organizations. After the elimination of such a large number of terrorists, high alert has been declared in the entire Balochistan province and security arrangements have been increased to an unprecedented level.

This action is being considered as a direct and strong response to the terrorist attacks that have taken place in various parts of Pakistan, especially Balochistan, in recent times. Security forces targeted the secret hideouts of terrorists on the basis of intelligence information. According to reports, the army launched the operation in a well-planned manner, in which heavy weapons and air support were also used. The aim of the army is to liberate those areas from terrorists where they had strengthened their hold. Many local commanders are also said to be among the terrorists killed in this operation, who were planning attacks on security forces for the last several months.
Security increased everywhere in Balochistan, silence on the streets amidst high alert due to fear of retaliatory attacks
In view of the possibility of terrorist attacks in response to this major action of the army, high alert has been issued in Balochistan. The provincial government and security agencies have increased patrolling in sensitive areas. Heavy security personnel have been deployed outside major government buildings, police stations and crowded markets. The administration has also instructed common citizens to remain alert. Intensive searches of vehicles are being done on the roads and curfew like situation is prevailing in many areas. While the news of killing of 145 terrorists has given some relief to the administration, it has also created fear of a big bloody conflict among the general public.
