PM Modi meets Palestinian Foreign Minister: India welcomes Gaza peace plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has had an important meeting with Palestine Foreign Minister Warsen Aghabekian. During this meeting, PM Modi once again reiterated India’s support towards the people of Palestine. In the discussion between the two leaders, emphasis was laid on the current situation in the Middle East and strengthening bilateral relations. The Prime Minister said in clear words that India stands with the welfare and rights of the citizens of Palestine.

Prime Minister Modi reiterates India’s commitment and developmental cooperation towards the people of Palestine

During this meeting, Prime Minister Modi mentioned India’s historical and friendly relations with Palestine. He assured Foreign Minister Aghabekian that India will continue its humanitarian assistance and developmental support to the people of Palestine. India has always been cooperating in education, health and capacity building in Palestine. PM Modi emphasized that India does not abandon its friendly nations in difficult times and the well-being of the people of Palestine is India’s priority.

India welcomes Gaza peace plan and ongoing international efforts to bring stability in the region

A major part of the conversation focused on the ongoing conflict in Gaza and efforts to restore peace there. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed it, especially mentioning the ‘Gaza Peace Plan’. He said India supports whatever efforts are being made to end violence and bring lasting peace in the region. PM Modi underlined that resolution of the conflict is possible only through dialogue and diplomacy, to ensure long-term stability in the region.

This meeting with Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian gave a new direction to bilateral relations and hopes for peace.

This meeting between Palestine’s Foreign Minister and PM Modi is considered very important from diplomatic point of view. This meeting has not only deepened the trust between the two countries, but also clarified India’s role as an advocate of peace on the global stage. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that peace efforts should be continuously promoted so that common citizens can get relief and an atmosphere of peace can be created in the area.
