Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an important statement on the conflict in West Asia in the Lok Sabha on 23 March 2026. He described the situation there as extremely worrying and said that the government is fully prepared for the safety of Indians. The Prime Minister told the House that since the increase in tension in West Asia, more than 3.75 lakh Indians have returned to their homes safely. 1000 Indians have also been brought back from Iran, including 700 medical students. CBSE has canceled the 10th and 12th examinations to be held in schools in Gulf countries so that the studies of the students are not affected.
