New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi today unveiled various schemes of youth-centriced more than Rs 62,000 crore. The Prime Minister also launched the amended Chief Minister’s Self Help Allowance Scheme for the youth of Bihar. In this, five lakh graduates will get a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 for two years. Also, skill training for employment will also be given free of cost. The Prime Minister also inaugurated Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University to promote industry-oriented courses and vocational education in Bihar. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of new educational and research facilities in four universities of Bihar and also inaugurated the new campus of NIT Patna in Bihta. Modi also launched the ‘PM-Setu’ scheme under which more than 1,000 ITI institutions across the country will be upgraded.

Addressing the youth, Modi said, “The education budget of Bihar has now increased manifold compared to the tenure of the RJD-Congress government.” Today there is a school in almost every village in Bihar. The number of engineering and medical colleges has also increased manifold. Recently, the central government has approved new Kendriya Vidyalayas for the youth of Bihar. There was a time when Bihar did not have international level sports facilities. Today national and international sports events are being held in the state.

At the same time, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, it is a matter of great pleasure that today the skill convocation has been organized for ITI toppers across the country. In this program, Prime Minister Modi has provided certificates to the students of these institutions. Youth Commission and Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University have been established in Bihar. Through this, appointment letters are being distributed to the youth of Bihar for jobs and scholarship is being provided to 25 lakh students, this will benefit the people of Bihar a lot.
