New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met the brave soldiers of the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War today. During this time, he also mentioned Operation Sindoor, including the challenges received from the neighboring country, the important role of soldiers and farmers in the development of the country. Rajnath Singh said, the real fate of any nation is made up of the sweat shed in its fields, factories, laboratories and battlefields. Our citizens have proved that India does not relinquish its luck to anyone else, but writes itself and we got an example of this even during Operation Sindoor.
The Defense Minister said, we have not forgotten that gruesome incident of Pahalgam. Whenever we miss that incident, the heart becomes heavy. What happened there, he shook all of us. But that incident could not break our morale. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged that this time terrorists will be taught a lesson, which he would never have imagined. We launched Operation Sindoor and showed the enemies how strong India’s retaliation could be. The coordination and courage with which our military team worked with proved that the victory was no longer an exception to us. Victory has become our habit and we have to always maintain this habit.
Rajnath said, the 1965 war was not just a small struggle, but it was the test of India’s strength. Seeing the circumstances that were in that era, Pakistan thought that it would scare India with infiltration, guerrilla strategy and sudden attacks. But our enemies did not know that every young man grows up in the soil of India with the feeling that whatever happens, it will not let the sovereignty and integrity of the country be affected. India as a nation since independence, India has not been as lucky in terms of its neighbors. There have always been challenges in some way or the other. But this is the specialty of us Indians, that we did not sit down considering these challenges as destiny. We worked hard and created our destiny, created our own destiny.
