Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted all the air warriors who protected the Indian sky on the 93rd Air Force Day and highlighted their bravery, discipline and accuracy. The PM also praised the role of the Air Force during natural disasters.
The Prime Minister wrote on X, “Congratulations to all courageous air warriors and their families on Air Force Day. The Indian Air Force is a symbol of bravery, discipline and accuracy. They have played an important role in protecting our sky with the most challenging circumstances.”
Prime Minister Modi said, “His role during natural disasters is also very commendable. Every Indian is proud of his commitment, professionalism and indomitable courage.”
Earlier, President Draupadi Murmu greeted Air Force personnel, ex -servicemen and their families on the occasion of 93rd Air Force Day. He threw light on the Air Force’s commitment and courage in the national service.
In a post on X, Draupadi Murmu said, “Heartfelt congratulations to all air warriors, ex -servicemen and their families on Air Force Day!
Principal Defense President General Anil Chauhan, Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi paid tribute to the soldiers at the National War Memorial in the National Capital.
Meanwhile, air warriors also marched on Hindon Air Base under Air Force Day celebrations.
This year, the static performance list also includes platforms that played a role in forcing Islamabad to retreat and forcing the ceasefire, when its Military Operations Director General (DGMO) spoke to his Indian counterpart.
The exhibition included fighter aircraft like Rafael, Sukhoi SU-30mki and MiG-29 as well as India’s indigenous eye AEW & C, C-17 Globmaster III, indigenous sky surface missile system, C-30J Hercules, Longbo radar and Apache Ladaku Radar Lawku Radar Will be A S-band Rohini radar will also be a part of this exhibition.
The recently retired MiG-21 Bison will also be part of this performance as a tribute to the Indian Air Force to serve more than six decades.
