New Delhi. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has termed the apprehensions being expressed about Sanchar Sathi app as wrong. While talking to the media in the Parliament complex, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that when the opposition does not have an issue and they are trying to find something, then we cannot help them. Our duty is to help and protect consumers. On apprehensions about Sanchar Sathi app, Scindia said that this app does not spy or monitor calls. He told that users can also activate and deactivate it as per their wish. It is also up to people’s wish to keep Sanchar Sathi app in their mobile or not. This app can also be deleted from the mobile. He also told the special features of Sanchar Sathi app.

Actually, there was an uproar after the news came in the media about Sanchar Sathi app. Opposition parties and some people were opposing it. Those opposing the Sanchar Sathi app had alleged that the Modi government wants to keep an eye on people through it. Congress MP Karti Chidambaram had even described Sanchar Sathi as more powerful than Pegasus Plus i.e. surveillance app. At the same time, Congress MP and General Secretary KC Venugopal, citing violation of Article 21 of the Constitution, had described Sanchar Sathi as a violator of privacy. After the growing controversy over Sanchar Sathi, now Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has told everything about this app.

It was reported in the media that the Department of Telecommunications has ordered all the mobile phone manufacturing companies to make the Sanchar Sathi app permanent in their new mobile phones within 90 days. Also, the media had reported that the Department of Telecommunications has asked the mobile manufacturing companies to provide the Sanchar Sathi app in such a way that the user cannot delete or deactivate it. Sanchar Sathi app is very useful. Through this a lost or stolen mobile can be found. He can be blocked. Information about calls coming from fraud numbers can be given to the government. By checking the IMEI number of the mobile with the communication partner, it can be found out whether the phone is real or fake.
