Second phase of voting continues in Bihar, PM Modi appeals for record voting

In Bihar, voting for the second and final phase is going on from 7 am on Tuesday, November 11. Voting will be held till 5 pm on 122 assembly seats in a total of 20 districts of the state. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of Bihar to use their franchise.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on his social media account X that today is the second and final phase of voting in Bihar assembly elections. My request to all the voters is that they should participate enthusiastically in this and create a new record of voting. I have a special appeal to the young friends of the state who are going to vote for the first time that they should not only vote themselves but also inspire others to do so.

Let us tell you that there are more than 3 crore 70 lakh voters in the second phase of voting in the state who will decide the fate of 1,302 candidates. In the second and final phase, 45,399 polling stations have been created, out of which 40,073 are in rural areas. Of the total voters, 1.75 crore are women. At the same time, the fate of many ministers of Nitish government is also at stake. Meanwhile, strict security arrangements have been made at all the polling booths so that the voting process can be conducted properly.
