Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) President Tej Pratap Yadav has offered his younger brother and leader of opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav to merge his party with Rashtriya Janata Dal. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, at the Dahi-Chuda banquet organized at his residence in Patna, without taking the name of RJD, he called it the party of Jaichand. Also said that Lalu Prasad Yadav’s real party is JJD. After this statement of Tej Pratap, the political temperature of Bihar has heated up.

Lalu Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav were also present at the Dahi Chuda banquet along with Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, RLJP chief Pashupati Kumar Paras, Bihar ministers Vijay Chaudhary, Sanjay Jha and many other prominent leaders. Talking to reporters, Tej Pratap said that a grand program related to “Dahi Chuda” was organized and he received the blessings of his father.

Tej Pratap Yadav told reporters “If Teju Bhaiya’s feast is not a super duper hit, then whose will it be… A grand feast of Dahi-Chuda was organised… Our parents are like God to us, so we will keep getting their blessings… Everyone will come,” Tej Pratap Yadav told reporters.

Asked about the presence of his brother and Bihar opposition MP Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap said he “wakes up late” but has sent him an invitation. “I have sent an invitation to my younger brother too. He wakes up a little late,” Tej Pratap told reporters.

Tej Pratap further informed that they have received blessings from Lalu Yadav and the Governor of Bihar, after which they will start their journey across Bihar. He said, “Lalu ji came, Governor Arif ji came and they blessed us. We have to take blessings from the elders and then start our journey across Bihar.”
