Patna. After a long tussle in the Grand Alliance, Congress has finally accepted RJD’s demand. Along with this, the Grand Alliance held a press conference on Thursday and made RJD leader and Lalu Yadav’s younger son Tejashwi Yadav its CM face. The leaders of the Grand Alliance made this announcement in a joint press conference with Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav also looked excited after making himself the CM face. He told how he will run the grand alliance government.

Mukesh Sahni also seemed happy with himself being projected as the Deputy CM if the Grand Alliance government is formed. Mukesh Sahni had long ago staked his claim for the post of Deputy CM during a public meeting. Mukesh Sahni was with NDA in 2020, but later he joined the camp of Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav.

There was tension going on among the constituent parties including RJD, Congress and VIP regarding the CM and Deputy CM face in Bihar. In the results, RJD had announced 143 candidates. Whereas, Congress had also released the list of 61 candidates. VIP, CPI, CPM, CPI-ML also fielded their candidates. In such a situation, only the candidates of Grand Alliance were seen standing in front of each other on 12 seats of Bihar Assembly. After this, Congress broke its silence till now and sent Ashok Gehlot, a confidant of the Gandhi family, to Patna. Ashok Gehlot met Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday in Patna. After which now Congress has also announced to make Tejashwi the CM face of the Grand Alliance.
