An important update has come out for Indians living in UAE and those traveling there. Airlines have made major changes in the schedules of their flights following instructions from the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the UAE Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Keeping in view the security and current situation, very limited flights are being operated between various cities of India from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The Embassy has advised all passengers to check the flight status with their airline before leaving for the airport.
Which airlines’ flights were affected?
According to the latest updates, flights of many major airlines operating between India and UAE have been canceled or limited. For the information of passengers, the airlines have shared the latest situation from their side.
Air India Express: All flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah have been canceled for March 15.
Delhi-Dubai Route: Currently only one round-trip flight is operating on this route. Some select flights may operate from Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah to Kerala and Delhi depending on the circumstances.
IndiGo: Flights to Dubai have been limited and services to other cities in the UAE are currently suspended.

Visa fine waiver: UAE authorities have announced a complete waiver of overstay fines for visitors stranded due to flight cancellations.
