In view of the situation, a large number of police forces have been deployed. Actually, workers of Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party had gathered in large numbers and were taking out a rally near Ambedkar Park. When these people reached near Gwalior intersection, they burnt the effigy of Dhirendra Shastri there. In protest against this, workers of Hindu organizations burnt the effigy of Azad Samaj Party leader Damodar Yadav. After both these incidents, workers of Hindu organization and Azad Samaj Party came face to face and started raising slogans against each other. Then the police reached there and brought the situation under control by convincing both the parties.
After this, people from both sides reached the police station to lodge complaints against each other. While returning from the police station, an argument broke out again between the two parties and someone pelted stones. After this there was a clash also. The police dispersed those people by lathi charge and water cannon. Police say that the people creating ruckus from both the sides have been identified and action will be taken against them soon.
