At least seven people died after a bus fell into a ditch in Almora district of Uttarakhand.12 passengers including two women were injured in the accident. Police and administration teams have reached the spot. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed grief over the death of people in a bus accident in Uttarakhand and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Modi said, “The death of people in a bus accident in Almora district of Uttarakhand is very sad. I express my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.
According to the information, a bus met with an accident in Shilapani of Bhikiyasain area of Almora. A bus has fallen into a ditch. Seven people died in the accident. 12 other passengers on the bus were injured.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the administration and relief team reached the spot. The injured were evacuated and admitted to the hospital for medical aid.
