At this time farmers are harvesting and threshing the wheat crop. Wheat is grown on a large scale in Haryana, Punjab, UP and Madhya Pradesh.

At the same time, there is severe heat in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. There is a possibility of heat wave (loo) in different places here on 16th April.
Delhi’s climate
The Meteorological Department has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rain, dust storm and thunderstorm in Delhi on Saturday. He has also predicted strong winds in the evening. On Saturday, the minimum temperature is likely to be around 23 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be around 38 degrees Celsius. The day temperature in the capital Delhi reached 39.4 degrees Celsius on Friday, which is the highest maximum temperature since January this year.
