Gwalior Crime News: Gwalior (Naiduniya Representative). The team of Kilgate and Crime Branch has caught Nandu Prajapati resident Hathiyapaur on Thursday afternoon from near Kalu Baba’s Bagiya (suburb Gwalior). Police have seized 1.25 gram smack from the accused. The police have claimed that the value of the seized smack is Rs 12.50 lakh in the international market. SSP Rajesh Dandoutia said that as part of the campaign being run against drug dealers, information was received a few days ago that a youth sells smack in Hathiyapore. A team was formed under the leadership of Crime Branch police station DP Gupta and Fort Gate police station in-charge Alok Singh Parihar to nab the suspect. On getting accurate information on Thursday, the suspect was caught near Kalu Baba’s garden. On searching the pocket of the suspect, smack was found in a polythene. The accused was brought to the police station for questioning. Nandu told the police that he brings smack from Mainpuri and Etawah districts of Uttar Pradesh. Nandu told that he makes and sells one or two grams of smack pudding. The mobile numbers of the customers of the accused have also been found.
Missing girl returned, rape case filed
A 20-year-old girl, who had gone missing from Lohpita’s tents in Mohanpur on January 12, returned home on Wednesday night. The family members had lodged the missing girl’s complaint at the Murar police station. The family members of the girl had accused Sunny Lohpita of taking her away by luring her. The victim told that her relative Sunny Lohapita had taken her to Jaipur by luring her. The accused did a wrong thing with her by threatening her. Police is probing the rape case. However, the police is still treating the case as suspicious. But by registering a case against the accused, efforts have been started to arrest him.
