After the recently concluded assembly elections of 5 states, BJP has returned to power in 4 states for the second time in a row. Despite all the speculations, the party has given another chance to the chief ministers of the four states. Particularly in UP, Uttarakhand and Goa, the BJP has tried to convey many messages by giving a second chance to young chief ministers in the form of Yogi Adityanath, Pushkar Singh Dhami and Dr. Pramod Sawat.
Yogi Adityanath, who is going to take oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second time, is 49 years old. At the same time, age of Pramod Sawant is 48 years and age of Pushkar Singh Dhami is 46 years. Thus, the age of all the three leaders is below 50 years. By reposing faith in these leaders, the party is trying to signal about the future politics.
The BJP is trying to send a message by trusting the young chief ministers that the party does not want to do any kind of experiment before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the party wants to strengthen its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections through a permanent leadership. In addition, the party has indicated to prepare youth leadership for future and national politics. Preference is being given to youth leadership both at the level of organization and government. Talking about the average age in the Union Cabinet, the average age of the Modi cabinet has become 58 years, which was 60 years earlier.
