CNG prices have increased in Delhi-NCR amid speculation that fuel prices will increase due to rise in crude oil prices. The CNG rate in Delhi has gone up from Rs 56.51 to Rs 57.51 per kg. On the other hand, the statement of Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singhpuri has come amid speculations about the rise in oil prices after the elections are over in five states in the country. It would be wrong to say that we did not increase the prices due to elections, he said.
Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Oil prices are for companies to decide as they also have to stay in the market. Oil prices are determined according to the international market. We will not allow shortage of oil in India due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Whatever decision we take going forward, we will take it keeping in mind the interests of our citizens.”
The Union Minister said, “One is our youth leader, they say get your tank filled soon. The elections are over. The question was asked that the tanks should be filled because the price of oil is going to increase. Get the tank filled now or get it filled later, sometime the election will come. Social media users are giving different reactions to the statement given by the Union Minister regarding oil prices.
One user (@addicted321) taunted and said, “Na-na, Puri sahab.. no one can think like that.” At the same time, a user (@CrAzY_MiiRzA) said, “Yes, you spoke and we agreed.” At the same time, the user (@Simply_Krishna) taunted and said, “This joke has become old. Tell me something new, Sardarji.”
Let us inform that amid continued military action by Russia against Ukraine, the international crude oil price on Monday reached $140 a barrel, which is a record high since 2008. After this, discussions have intensified regarding the rise in oil prices in the country.
