Congress leader and MP Manish Tewari has made a big attack on the Modi government regarding the parliamentary discussion. Manish Tewari has said in a program that MPs now discuss the issues of Municipal Corporation and Assembly level, it has been 21 months since the LAC dispute, there is no mention of it yet.
Congress MP Manish Tewari, speaking at the Jaipur Literature Festival, fiercely surrounded the Modi government on the issue of national security. He accused the government of not wanting to discuss the issues of national security. He said that now issues up to the level of the corporation are discussed in the Parliament. Referring to the India-China border standoff, the Congress leader said that “even after almost 21 months there has not been a single discussion in Parliament” on the issue.
He said- “I think there is a strange reluctance on the part of the government”. He said that unfortunately it seems that instead of discussing the big challenges of the country in the Parliament, the issues of the lower sector are being discussed. Parliament should be such that where serious issues of the country, issues of great challenge can be discussed. However, he said that serious issues would be discussed in the standing committees.
Let us tell you that these days Manish Tiwari has also been an attacker on the Modi government regarding the stranded Indian students from Ukraine. Many times he has also given advice to PM Modi on this matter by tweeting. However, for the past several months, Congress leaders have been seen to be unhappy with the policies of their own party. Especially regarding the Punjab assembly elections.
Manish Tewari has been targeting the Congress high command in this election as well. At the same time, he is also very angry with the local leadership of Punjab. Manish Tewari is currently a Congress MP from Punjab and due to his rebellious attitude, there has been speculation that he may also leave the Congress, although Manish Tewari himself has rejected the talk of leaving the Congress.
