Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest (by sales) two-wheeler manufacturer, is known for its affordable bikes in the domestic market. Hero MotoCorp’s motorcycle is most liked in the country. Now the company’s cheapest bike Hero HF Deluxe has made another new record in terms of mileage. It has emerged as the highest mileage bike of the company. This bike has done this feat in the ‘Mileage Ka Hero Contest’ organized by Hero MotoCorp.
As per the information given on the company’s official website, a participant from Bilaspur along with Hero HF Deluxe participated in the ‘Mileage Ka Hero Contest’ organized by Hero MotoCorp Pvt Ltd. During this contest, this bike has won this competition by traveling more than 100 kilometers in 1 liter of petrol. A promotional image of the same has also been shared by the company on its official website, quoting the participant’s statement that read, ‘I am very happy with my HF Deluxe, which gives more than 100Kmpl mileage.’

Hero HF Deluxe comes in a total of four variants, while a cheaper variant is also available for sale, which the company has named HF 100, which costs just Rs 51,030. Prices of the base (kick-start, spoke wheel) variants of the HF Deluxe start at Rs. 54,650. Whereas the self-start variant costs Rs 63,040 and the top model self-start, alloy wheel variant costs up to Rs 63,040. All these prices are given ex-showroom, Delhi.
The company has used an engine of 97.2cc capacity in this bike, which is also seen in Hero Splendor. This engine generates 8PS power and 8.05Nm torque. Although its power output has come down by 0.3PS after the BS6 update, but due to the use of fuel injected technology in it, its mileage has become much better. This engine comes with a 4 speed gearbox.

Based on a double cradle frame, this bike has telescopic forks at the front and pre-loaded adjustable twin shock suspension at the rear. 130mm drum brake is available in both its wheels. The Hero HF Deluxe has a very traditional design. It looks a bit more stylish than the Splendor. There is no LED lighting on the digital instrumentation in the bike. In the analog console, information like speedometer and fuel gauge along with some tail lights is available.
