Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is in the news these days for his green hydrogen car. The biggest feature of this car is that this car does not run on petrol, diesel but hydrogen, which is considered to be the fuel of the future. On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya rode in this car in Delhi, whose video was posted by the Deputy Chief Minister on social media.
Praising the hydrogen car, he said that the car running on green hydrogen is an important step towards the self-reliant India of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He further said that under the leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari ji has made the impossible possible, this will lead to a big revolution in the field of transportation.
What is Green Hydrogen Car? Recently, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari reached Parliament in a green hydrogen car. Gadkari had told that the government is going to start a big project regarding hydrogen, under which Gadkari launched India’s first hydrogen based advanced fuel cell electric vehicle Toyota Mirai. The biggest feature of it compared to electric vehicles is that it can be refueled in a very less time than the battery-powered vehicle. The company has claimed that it will cost Rs 2 per kilometer to run this car.
