Indore (Naiduniya Representative). After the lifting of restrictions due to the Corona epidemic, there was great gaiety in the city on Mahashivratri on Tuesday. Mahadev was consecrated in different ways in homes and temples. Somewhere Shiva’s procession came out and somewhere there was a bhajan evening. Temples were decorated with flowers, rangolis and colorful bulbs. Devotees thronged from morning till late night. Fruity khichdi was distributed.
In Gutkeshwardham, hemp was offered after adorning Gutkeshwar Mahadev. President of Shri Gutkeshwardham Sadguru Parivar Trust Pt. Dheeraj Shukla and Secretary Pt. Chandraprakash Dubey performed Jalabhishek in the morning. In the Gopeshwar Mahadev temple located in the Gandhi Hall complex, the Lord was adorned in the form of a bridegroom with cannabis and dry fruits. Jalabhishek was performed at Panchkuiya Shiva temple. Mahamandaleshwar Lakshmandas, National President of Vishwa Brahmin Samaj Sangh, Pt. Yongendra Mahant and devotees fed the cow by performing Jalabhishek. Mass consecration was also done in Veer Baghichi. Hanumanji was adorned as Lord Shiva. Pawananand Maharaj told that the aarti was done in the evening.
Shiva-Parvati sitting in the silver-veneered sanctum – 120 couples made sacrifices in the Mahamrityunjay Mahayagya under the direction of Acharya Pt. Rajesh Sharma in the Srividyadham complex located on Aerodrum Road in the morning. It was accompanied by Rudrabhishek and special makeup. Char Prahar Puja started at 9 pm. In this, Rudrabhishek of the Lord was done with the juices of mango, pomegranate, grapes, orange, sugarcane, betel and other fruits. On behalf of Shraddha Suman Seva Samiti, Lord Shiva was worshiped with the juice of 12 fruits at Mother Mandir in Indira Gandhi Nagar. The founder presidents of the committee, Mohanlal Soni, Dr. Chetan Sethia and Rajendra Garg told that after the worship and consecration under the direction of Pt. Balbhadra Sharma, litterateur Pt. Hareram Bajpai told the importance of Dwadash Jyotirlinga.
Bathed with saffron milk and Panchamrit The idols of Lord Hanseshwar Mahadev, Gauri-Shankar and Kashi Vishwanath were consecrated, worshiped and adorned in the ancient Hansdas Math located at Piliyakhal. Pt. Pawandas Sharma of the Math told that Maharudrabhishek of Hanseshwar Mahadev was done under the guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Ramcharandas and Acharya Pt. Kalyandatta Shastri. In the Mankameshwar Kantaphod Shiva temple located in Naulakha, the groom, Shiva, was bathed with saffron milk and Panchamrit. In the evening, Shiva and Parvati were enthroned in the Golden Palace in a silver-plated sanctum. The tableau of the grand temple of Ramlala and the replica of Ashta Vinayak being built in Ayodhya was decorated. Temple Trust President Vishnu Bindal, Convener BK Goyal and Secretary Ajay Khandelwal told that 20 artists from Bengal prepared this tableau in ten days.
Abhishek with sugarcane juice and medicinal water In the Datta Mauli Sadguru Anna Maharaj Sansthan located in Palsikar Colony, about two hundred years old Shivling was consecrated with sugarcane juice and medicinal water. Sharad Jape of the institute told that Rudrabhishek was done in the morning. Bhajans were sung in the evening. The Veer Chaitanya Hanuman Mandir Devotee Mandal at Nandanagar took out Shiva’s procession. Shiva-Parvati marriage festival was celebrated in Gangeshwar Mahadev temple located at Patnipura square.
Swabhishek of Lord Bhuteshwar On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the self-abhishek of the Lord took place in the Bhuteshwar Mahadev temple of Panchkuia on Tuesday evening. Artists worshiped God through classical music. It started with Pakhawaj recital by Chitrangada Agle Reshwal. He offered Shiva Stuti. This was followed by the presentation of tukde, paran and gharanadar rails. Deepak Gharsarwal assisted on Harmonium. Rasika Gawade presented khayal in Raga Bageshree. After this the hymn “Shiv Shiv Hoy Prasanna Karo Daya” was sung. Dr. Rachna Puranic Sharma on Harmonium and Sarang Lasurkar on Tabla. Classical Guitar was played by Abhishek Vyas. He started singing with Raga Malkauns. Later on Raga Mishra Tilak. Performed in Kamod. Nishant Sharma assisted on Tabla. In the last leg of the event, Pt. Dinesh Chandra Shukla and Sarang Lasurkar played Tabla.
Devotees dance to the tune of the band – The committee of Shri Khedapati Hanuman Mandir of Scheme-54 took out the procession of Lord Shiva on Mahashivratri. Dancing and singing of hymns were taken out. The procession was concluded in the temple. The marriage of Shiva-Parvati was done by taking seven rounds in the temple. Lord Shiva’s procession was taken out to the tune of band-baaz. In the procession, children and elders were walking in the costumes of Lord Shiva, Lord Rama-Lakshman, Radha-Krishna, Hanuman and saints.
