Acharya Kishore Kunal, head of the Mahavir Mandir Trust, Patna, told that Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, a resident of Kaithwalia, has donated 23 katthas (about 71 decimils) for the temple.
It is said that Khan has a lot of land in the village and at present he does business in Guwahati. The value of the donated land is said to be Rs 2.50 crore.
Kunal told that Khan has registered the donation of land in the registration office to Virat Ramayana temple.
Kunal, a former Indian Police Service officer, said that this donation of Khan and his family is a great example of social harmony and brotherhood between the two communities.
It is noteworthy that Khan’s family has already contributed in arranging the land required for the temple. Acharya Kishore Kunal, secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust, told reporters that the remaining land would also be arranged soon.
The construction work of the world’s tallest (270 ft) Virat Ramayana temple at Kaithwalia in East Champaran district of Bihar will start in April 2022. It is said that the temple has got one hundred acres of land so far for this proposed temple on 125 acres of land.
It is said that the Virat Ramayana temple is taller than the world famous 12th century Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, which is 215 feet high. This temple complex will have 18 temples with high peaks and its Shiva temple will have the world’s largest Shivling.
Kunal told that the Shivling will be 33 feet high and 33 feet wide. It is being constructed in Mahabalipuram with black granite stones.
He clarified this and said that the construction of this Shivling would be like Sahastralingam, that is, one thousand eight Shivling would have been seated in one Shivling. This type of Shivling was made in the 8th century.
Apart from this, four ashrams will also be constructed in the name of four sages. Experts will be called from South India for the construction of the summit. The secretary of the Mahavir Mandir Trust claims that this temple will become an example of beautiful architecture.
He told that there is a road from three sides of the Virat Ramayana temple complex. The Ram-Janaki road being built from Ayodhya to Janakpur will pass through the temple. Saffron Buddhist Stupa is also present on this route.
