Inspected Delhi-Mumbai Express under construction at Javra in Ratlam district
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had reached Ratlam to inspect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Nitin Gadkari had driven the Gadai at a speed of 150 kms on the expressway to conduct the inspection. Whose video went viral on social media. Gadkari first inspected the expressway from a helicopter and then did an on-road test in a car.
Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inspected the under-construction Delhi-Mumbai Express at Javra in Ratlam district. To check the quality of the expressway, he had driven at a speed of 150 km from Bhootra. After the test drive, Gadkari said that he had already instructed the manufacturing company to maintain the quality. Speed checking on the expressway has been successful. Gadkari was accompanied by MPs Guman Singh Damor, Anil Firozhia and Sudhir Gupta and Ratlam district MLAs Chaitanya Kashyap, Dr Rajendra Pandey among others during the trial which lasted over 45 minutes.

This expressway will pass through three districts of Madhya Pradesh and its length is 245 km. Which will pass through Ratlam, Sandsaur and Jhambua districts. Its work will be completed by November 2022. In the first phase, after eight lanes, it is proposed to build it up to 12 lanes. Gadkari had also inspected the expressway sometime back in Bharuch, Gujarat.
