Hyderabad MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has launched a verbal attack on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray over the loudspeaker controversy. Addressing a public meeting in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Akbaruddin said without naming Raj Thackeray that I have not come here to answer anyone.
In fact, in Aurangabad, MNS chief Raj Thackeray had given an ultimatum to the Uddhav government of Maharashtra to play loudspeakers at mosques. In such a situation, AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi said, “Indecent language is being used in the country nowadays, but Akbaruddin Owaisi will answer hate with love, not hate.”
Owaisi said, “I have neither come here to reply to the comments of some people nor to criticize anyone. We are not afraid of anyone. Why should we answer those who do not deserve to be answered? Without taking the name of Raj Thackeray, he said that you do not have the right to answer.
On the status of AIMIM in Lok Sabha, Owaisi said that I have an MP but you are homeless, you are missing. You have been evicted from the house. Next to this he said that I will definitely come one day to answer. Akbaruddin Owaisi will fight. But I will decide its place and time. Owaisi said that these days hatred is being talked about in the country but we will not answer it with hatred but with love.
He said that there is a dispute in the country regarding Azaan, there is talk of lynching and hijab. We should not be afraid. Only Muslims need to stand together.
Amidst the loudspeaker standoff, Owaisi said that while warning the people who came to the public meeting, he said that we have to avoid getting trapped. Let those who are barking bark. We have to ignore them and move like lions.” All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA Akbaruddin said, “Whatever they say, just keep doing your work with a smile.”
