Deoria: A heart-wrenching news has come from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the information given by the police, a 4-year-old girl from a nomadic family died tragically in an attack by stray dogs on Saturday near Amethi Mata Temple in the Kotwali police station area of Deoria district headquarters. Police said that this family mainly used to survive by begging and even at the time of the incident, they had come out of the house only to beg.
Stray dogs attacked 4 year old girl
Giving information about this, the police said that Inspector Ved Prakash Sharma, in-charge of Kotwali police station, said that a person named Shankar was living with his family in a temporary hut near Amethi Mata Temple in Kotwali police station area for the last several months. He told that when the family members went out to beg for livelihood on Saturday morning, the stray dogs surrounded them and attacked their 4-year-old daughter who was following them. The SHO said that by the time people drove the dogs away, they seriously injured the girl and she died on the spot.
Even before, stray dogs have taken the lives of innocent people.
The station in-charge said that the police is taking necessary action in this regard. He told that the family used to earn their living by begging here. SHO Sharma said that the mutilated body of the girl was taken into custody by the police and sent for postmortem. Let us tell you that the news of death of innocent children due to the attack of stray dogs is continuously coming from different areas of the country. Earlier this month, a 4-year-old girl was killed after being attacked by a stray dog in Ambamata police station area of Udaipur district of Rajasthan. At the same time, in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan last month, a 6-year-old child died in an attack by stray dogs.
