The country’s largest automaker Tata Motors has started booking automatic variants of its upcoming new hatchback car Altroz. The company has named this car as Altroz DCA, it is reported that soon the price of this car will also be disclosed. According to the information shared by the company, the delivery of this car will also be started at the time of launch. Interested customers can book this car for an amount of Rs 21,000.
What will be new in Tata Altroz DCA variant:
Tata Motors introduced the Altroz as a premium hatchback car, now some information related to its new DCA variant has been revealed. This car is coming with Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA) transmission gearbox. It uses wet-clutch technology with a double clutch, which the company also said will be available in the XT, XZ and XZ+ variants as well as the Dark Edition lineup.
The entire Altroz range will get a new Opera Blue paint shade and the model will be available in red, grey, white and other shades of blue as well. As claimed in a recent media report, the Altroz DCA will only come with an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and not the more powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol option.
They will compete in the market:
Once launched in the domestic market, the Altroz DCA will primarily compete with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Automatic, Hyundai i20 DCT, Volkswagen Polo TSI Automatic and the Honda Jazz. With the new update, its price may increase. The current car price ranges from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.69 lakh.
