Lucknow. So far, Shivpal Singh Yadav, who is targeting his nephew and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, has come out in the open. In an interview with the English newspaper ‘The Indian Express’, Shivpal has targeted Akhilesh. He said that we were in the SP, not in the alliance. Despite this, the alliance and the SP’s legislature party were kept out of the meeting. Shivpal also gave his opinion about Azam Khan and the next Lok Sabha elections. Regarding the meeting of the SP Legislature Party, Shivpal Singh said that I was not invited to that meeting. Incidentally, I had gone to meet Akhilesh and then without invitation, I was also given a place in that meeting.
Shivpal said that I have joined SP, but you can never see me anywhere else. I am neither invited to press conferences nor meeting with colleagues or taking any opinion on any other issue. When asked whether Mulayam Singh did not try to negotiate a settlement between Akhilesh and him, Shivpal said that he held meetings several times. Netaji sticks to his word. I live too, but Akhilesh does not have this quality. Shivpal said that the promise matters a lot. It is above all for a person and is also necessary in politics. He clearly said that Akhilesh did not fulfill any promise and that is why he did not get power.
On the question about the Lok Sabha elections, Shivpal Singh said that seeing the circumstances, he will take a decision at the right time. He said that he would talk to the leaders and workers of his party PSP about this. On a question, Shivpal said that after coming out of jail, I will talk to Azam Khan on forming a new front. He told that he has met Azam twice in jail. Shivpal said that Azam Khan is a socialist. Netaji should have raised their issue in Parliament.
