New Delhi. Union Public Service Commission has released the final result of Civil Services Examination 2023 today. A total of 1016 candidates have been successful in the UPSAC examination in which Aditya Srivastava of Lucknow has topped. Animesh Pradhan is at second place, Donuru Ananya Reddy is at third place, P.K. is at fourth place. Siddharth Ramkumar and Rouhani captured the fifth position. The list of 20 topics is given below. Notification for Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2023 was issued by UPSC on 1 February last year. After which the application process continued till 21st February. Thereafter, preliminary examination was organized on 28 May, the result of which was declared on 12 June. The main examination was conducted between 15 and 24 September for the candidates who were successful in the preliminary examination. Its results were released on 8 December 2023. After this, in the second phase of the main examination, interviews were conducted in three phases from January 2 to February 16, February 19 to March 15 and then from March 18 to April 9 this year. After this, the final exam result was released today.
UPSC had recruited 1143 posts in IAS, IPS and other services under the Civil Services Examination 2023. There were 180 posts of IAS, 200 posts of IPS and 37 posts of IFS. After being successful in the preliminary examination, about 2846 candidates who passed the main examination were called for interview out of which 1016 candidates were selected. If we talk about the last few years, women had made achievements in securing top positions in the UPSC examinations, but this time in the examination, boys have won the top four positions.
