Governor Koshyari could not complete his address in Maharashtra
His statement came a day after the Maharashtra Assembly incident. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyani left the Central Hall of Vidhan Bhavan without completing his address due to sloganeering by MLAs during the joint session of both the houses in the Vidhan Sabha on Thursday.
In Gujarat also there were obstacles in front of Governor Devvrat
On Wednesday, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat too had to end his traditional address in the state assembly early on the first day of the budget session. This happened because the MLAs of the Congress party were raising anti-BJP slogans on various issues.
Venkaiah Naidu said that we are seeing certain events happening in both the houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Such incidents are happening during the address of Governors and violence in various institutions should also be completely avoided. This weakens democracy.
The Vice President said, ‘In a democracy, if you don’t like the address, you can criticize it after its completion. If you don’t like the budget, you can criticize. If you don’t like the government then you should peacefully protest with patience and wait for the elections. You must have the patience to honor the mandate.
