Blast has occurred in Karachi University of Pakistan in which four people including three Chinese nationals have been killed. According to Pakistan’s Geo News, the blast took place in a van. Several people are reported to have been injured in this blast. According to reports, a foreign national, a Pakistani Ranger jawan and a private security personnel were injured in the blast. All the injured have been admitted to the nearby private hospital Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
The blast took place at around 1:52 pm near the Chinese Language Training Center at Karachi University. Immediately after the blast, the rescue squad and security personnel reached the spot and took control of the entire area. At the same time, another Pakistani media quoted police sources as saying that the van in which the blast took place. There were about 7 to 8 people in it. However, how many people were killed in this blast. There is no clear information yet.

According to the report of Pakistani media ‘Dawn’, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has asked the forces of Counter Terrorism Department to reach the spot immediately. Apart from this, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif spoke to Shah on the phone and expressed grief over the blast. With this, the PM assured Shah of the full help and cooperation of the government in dealing with such incidents.
