Everyone wants glowing and glowing skin. For this, people often spend money on expensive beauty products or salon treatments. But perhaps you may not know that for centuries, a magical substance – turmeric – has been used in our kitchen to improve the complexion. Turmeric has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help in removing blemishes, acne and tanning and brings natural glow to the skin. Here we are telling you how you can get glowing skin at home without spending much money.
1. Turmeric and gram flour pack
This is a classic ‘ubtan’ (traditional beauty paste) that deeply cleanses the skin. Gram flour absorbs excess oil, while turmeric brightens the complexion. To make this, mix 2 spoons of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric and rose water or raw milk as per requirement and make a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and neck for 15 minutes. When it dries slightly, rub (scrub) gently while washing with water.
2. Turmeric and honey pack
If your skin is dry and lifeless, then this pack can prove to be a boon. Honey moisturizes the skin from within, which brings glow to the face. Mix a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemon juice in 1 teaspoon honey. Apply this mixture on your face, leave it for 10 to 12 minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water.
3. Turmeric and curd pack
The lactic acid present in curd removes dead skin cells, and when mixed with turmeric, it removes sun tan effectively. To make this face pack, take 1 teaspoon thick curd and add half teaspoon turmeric powder to it. Apply it on your face and massage in circular motion for 2 minutes. Leave it for 15 minutes, then wash with cold water.
