What is PM Kisan Manadhan Pension Scheme?
PM-KMY is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme, which has been launched by the Central Government, especially for small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, farmers are given a fixed pension of ₹ 3,000 every month after completing the age of 60 years. That is, assistance of ₹ 36,000 annually. This pension gets throughout life, which gives economic support to elderly farmers.
Who will get the benefit of this scheme?
The age of the farmer should be between 18 and 40 years.
The beneficiary should already be registered under the PM-Kisan scheme.
Once registration is done, pension starts getting as soon as the age of 60 years is completed.
After registration in the scheme, a special pension ID number is available, which keeps your record and identity safe.
Money will not have to be paid from pocket, PM-Kisan will be paid
The biggest feature of this scheme is that farmers do not have to pay any money from their pockets for this. Which is the monthly contribution (from ₹ 55 to ₹ 200 per month, age), it is directly cut off with the help of PM-Kisan ₹ 6,000 annually.
