Ingredients needed to make Vada Pav
Boiled potatoes – 4 to 5
Pav – 10
Besan – 1 bowl
Green chili – 4 to 5, finely chopped
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Rai – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 10
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Green chutney – as per taste
dry red chutney – as per taste
salt – as per taste
Oil – as required
How to make Vada Pav
- To make Vada Pav, first put the pan on low flame for heating. Now add 1 teaspoon oil in it.
- When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds and curry leaves and let it cook lightly.
- Now mash the potatoes and put them in it. Now add turmeric powder, mango powder, coriander powder and salt to it and mix it well.
- Now take another vessel and make a thick batter by adding gram flour, baking soda, salt and water.
- Now put oil in another pan and leave it to heat on the gas.
- Now make balls of the potato masala that was made and dip it in the batter of gram flour and fry it. When these balls are cooked and turn golden brown, take them out.
- Now take a pav and cut it from the middle and apply dry red chutney on it.
- Now after this place the fried vada in the middle and pour some dry red chutney on top.
- Then cover it with the other side of the pav.
- Your Vada Pav is ready. Enjoy it with green and sweet chutney.
