Chandigarh. Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said, “If we do not become conscious about pollution today and do not act about it, the coming generations will suffocate because they will not be able to get oxygen to survive”. Vij said that the special campaign by Eco Care and Disaster Management of Brahma Kumaris to spread awareness about environmental protection and disaster management is commendable. Campaign coordinator Brahmakumari Bharatbhushan and other members met Shri Vij today and presented him a memento. On this occasion, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that a lot of efforts and work is needed to reduce pollution. People should plant more and more trees and plants on the earth so that they can get oxygen and governments are also taking steps to control pollution. Polluting things are being banned and technology is also improving. Good work is being done on issues of public interest.
During this, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that this campaign is being run from Panipat to Srinagar, which is a good effort. He said that it is a very good thing that people are being made aware about the environment and traveling in the country. A journey is going from Panipat to Kashmir. As mentioned, during the yatra, people will be made aware of the ideas at various places which is the need of the hour.
It is noteworthy that this campaign which started from Panipat has reached Ambala today and further it will go till Kashmir. Convenor Bharat Bhushan said that it is serving and creating awareness on environmental protection and disaster management. Today all of them have come to seek blessings from Minister Anil Vij and have given their best wishes for this campaign. Brahmakumari Rakesh Mehta and others were present on this occasion.
