Sheopur. A major road accident occurred in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. Four women died and more than 22 people were seriously injured in this accident in Vijaypur area. After the accident, there was chaos in the entire area. Expressing grief over the incident, CM Mohan Yadav has directed to provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 50 thousand each to the other injured. According to the information, people were going from Ghughas village of Veerpur in a tractor-trolley to Parvati Baroda village to deliver rice. Meanwhile, the tractor-trolley suddenly went out of control and overturned near the gas warehouse near Vijaypur area. In this accident, four women died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Saroj wife Magan Gurjar, Sunena wife Kalla Gurjar, Seema wife Kalu Gurjar and Geeta wife Ghanshyam Gurjar. After the accident, there was an outcry at the spot and the local people immediately started relief and rescue operations.
Regarding this incident, CM Mohan Yadav posted on social media platform ‘X’ and said that the news of death of women due to tractor-trolley overturning in Khitarpal village of Vijaypur police station area of Sheopur district is very sad. Those injured in the accident are being provided treatment. The state government has given instructions to provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 50 thousand each to the other injured.
Regarding this, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that the news of death of 4 women due to tractor-trolley overturning in Khitarpal village of Vijaypur police station area of Sheopur district is extremely sad and heart-wrenching. We pray to God to grant peace to the departed souls and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this unbearable grief. I also wish for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured.
