Satna, 11 September (). Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan reached Satna on Thursday. During this, he also spoke on the One Nation-One election in the program organized in Satna. They advocated holding the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections simultaneously.
He said in a conversation with the media that repeated elections are the biggest obstacle in the development of the country. Due to elections, there is a code of conduct, development works come to a standstill, unnecessary money is spent and the environment is also polluted. There is no far -reaching decisions for the development of the country. Many such announcements are made to win the election which are not practical. He amended the Constitution and advocated to hold the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections simultaneously.
Along with this, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the interests of farmers, cattlemen and fishermen will not be compromised. Country interest is paramount for us. He described the reducing GST on agricultural equipment as a revolutionary decision.
The Union Minister also said on the increased demand for fertilizer in Satna that due to good rains and increased sowing of paddy, urea is more needed. He assured that the central and state governments will together ensure the supply of fertilizer. Right now 1500 metric tonnes of manure racks have reached Satna district and supply will be increased as per the requirement. This time the rain has been good. The problems will be resolved keeping in mind the needs of the farmers.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan went to the house of workers and colleagues during his visit to express condolences. He told that the son of a partner living in security with me died at the age of 15. He said that “The companions and workers who have been separated were members of the family, so I have come to meet him. My friend had died, he went to his house to express condolences.”
