New Delhi . Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has congratulated Samrat Chaudhary on taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Bihar. He also congratulated Bijendra Yadav and Vijay Kumar Sinha on assuming charge as Deputy Chief Ministers of the state. In his message, he expressed confidence that under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar will achieve new heights in the field of good governance, development and public service. He said that the new government will accelerate the pace of development in the state and take concrete steps to improve the living standards of the common people. He laid special emphasis on prosperity of farmers, empowerment of women and creating more employment opportunities for the youth. He also said that the aim of the government is to extend the benefits of development and welfare schemes to every section of the society, so that inclusive development can be ensured. He also said that the dream of developed Bihar will now be realized in a more effective manner. The policies of the new government will bring positive changes in the sectors of infrastructure, education, health and employment.
He stressed that the development of Bihar plays an important role in the progress of the country. In such a situation, the public welfare and inclusive policies of the state government will not only take Bihar forward but will also contribute significantly to nation building.
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar, who held the post of Chief Minister of Bihar for almost two decades, had resigned from the post of Chief Minister. He took oath as a Rajya Sabha member in Delhi last Friday. Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath as Rajya Sabha MP in New Delhi.
After this swearing in of Nitish Kumar, a historic change has started in the politics of Bihar. Actually, former Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar was a member of the State Legislative Council, but after his election to the Rajya Sabha, he resigned from the membership of the Legislative Council on March 30. Nitish Kumar was elected to the Upper House of Parliament from Bihar in March last. He remained at the center of power in Bihar for almost two decades.
Apart from this, he is also the chief of Janata Dal United. Nitish Kumar has started his new political innings from April 10 with taking oath as Rajya Sabha MP. Nitish had resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar after returning from Delhi. After Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar, a new government of the state was formed under the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary.
