Abu Azmi said on the issue of infiltration, not a single Bangladeshi was found, where is the SIT report?

घुसपैठ के मुद्दे पर बोले अबू आजमी, एक भी बांग्लादेशी नहीं मिला, एसआईटी की रिपोर्ट कहां?

Nandurbar, June 3 (IANS). Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi targeted the government’s policies on issues like illegal Bangladeshi citizens, ‘love jihad’, farmer suicides and communal polarisation.

While talking to the media in Nandurbar, Abu Azmi made serious allegations against the Central and Maharashtra governments. On the issue of infiltration, Abu Azmi said, “Birth certificates were stopped. Today thousands of children have not received their certificates. An SIT was formed, but till date the SIT report has not been submitted. Not a single Bangladeshi has been found. If Bangladeshis are present in the country, then how did they come in? The government is run by the BJP and they are also responsible for border security. All this is being done deliberately so that minorities can be targeted again and again.”

Azmi said, “‘Jihad’ is a very respectable word, which means struggle. Words like ‘Love Jihad’, ‘Land Jihad’ are nonsense. Hindu-Muslim marriages have been happening since ancient times. The Constitution says that after the age of 18, any person is free and can marry whomever he wants. I can guarantee that there is no Muslim organization in India which says marry Hindu girls. This issue “They are being deliberately targeted.”

Expressing concern over the problem of farmers, he said, “What guarantee will this government give that most of the suicides by farmers will stop in Maharashtra? Every government comes and goes. Farmers are committing suicide under the burden of loans of Rs 4-5 thousand, Rs 15 thousand, Rs 20 thousand. A lot of sympathy is shown, but there is no improvement in the condition.”

The Samajwadi Party MLA alleged that efforts are being made to spread it to villages by polarizing Muslims. “He says he will make the entire country ‘green’ and claims he will become the chief minister,” he said.
