Mumbai, March 20 (IANS). Senior Maharashtra Congress leader Hussain Dalwai has supported the demand of ABVP. Dalwai said that if the article related to Jinnah is given in the syllabus then it should be removed. ABVP’s demand is justified.
In fact, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) strongly demonstrated in the university campus against the inclusion of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in the new syllabus issued by the Department of Political Science of Jammu University.
Speaking to IANS in Mumbai, Hussain Dalwai said that Jinnah has divided this country into two parts. If there is any article praising him, it should be removed. I don’t think ABVP’s demand is wrong at all.
On the statement of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Hussain Dalwai said that it is not Congress who is being sidelined but he himself is being sidelined. He has a great desire to go there and wants to be a special aide of PM Modi. He said that Shashi Tharoor is clearing the way to join BJP these days and is looking for a way to go towards BJP. The Congress party has taken the right stand that they should not be paid attention to.
Hussain Dalwai hit back at the statement made by BJP MP on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. He said that when Kangana Ranaut works in cinema, she does not feel afraid. Kangana Ranaut should not make such statements regarding Rahul Gandhi. Rahul can never hurt the honor of women but perhaps Kangana Ranaut will not understand this.
On the statement of MLA T Raja, Congress leader Hussain Dalwai said that I appeal to CM Fadnavis to take action against him. Such people create rift between Hindus and Muslims and why do you allow them to come. Maharashtra is a state of peaceful people. If you want to do this deliberately, then why let them come here? There is a need to make public what action the police has taken so far on the MLA’s statement.
